How often does the RKIN salt-based water softener require salt replenishment?

RKIN CS series salt-based water softeners proactively monitor water usage and regenerate when needed. This "metered" approach ensures maximum efficiency for salt and water usage.

The exact regeneration schedule and salt replenishment requirement will depend on your water hardness and total household water use.

The water softener will regenerate at least once every seven days to keep the media within the system in a top-performing state.

What can I do with the mobile app?

Legacy View mobile app makes setting up and monitoring your RKIN Water Softener easier than ever. A free download of the phone app is available for your iPhone or Android device.

Do I have to use the mobile app?

No, the mobile app is not required. All the settings can be updated directly from the Water System's control board.

The mobile app does make the setup quick and easy.

The Bluetooth module on the valve can be disabled, and the mobile app can be deleted from the phone after the initial setup.

Who installs my RKIN Water System?

RKIN ships direct from the factory, saving you over 60% of the standard retail cost. Our products' user-friendly design makes installation easy with or without professional help. However, if you're not mechanically inclined, we do recommend hiring a plumber to help with installation.

When I move, can I take my RKIN Water System with me?

The RKIN easy-install design makes moving the system between houses a breeze. Just put the system into bypass mode, disconnect it, and take the system with you. The system can be re-installed in your new home with or without professional help.
